“Latest version” means the newest release of the 918Kiss app for your platform. The simplest way to get it is the Start button on this page: it opens the current 918Kiss download for Android or iPhone, so the app you install is the one available today. The version labels explain the numbers players search for, such as 1.2, 2.0 and 5.0.
See the version on your phone#
If 918Kiss is already on an Android phone, open Settings, then Apps, then 918Kiss. The app name and version appear there. Note them, and the update takes a minute: tap Start, install the new file and open the app. Your account carries over, because it lives on 918Kiss and not on the phone.
On iPhone, the app or website opens through the iPhone route. Open iPhone access options and tap the iPhone access button to continue with the route for your device. The Android version number describes the Android app only.

Install the current Android file#
An APK’s version number is easy to read in Settings. When you install through Start, the new file replaces the old one and the version number moves up. Follow the APK page for the steps. If you like a clean slate, back up your username, uninstall the old app and install again: your account and balance stay with 918Kiss.

Where historical labels fit#
The 1.2 , 2.0 and 5.0 pages describe what players mean when they search each label. They also point you back to the Start button, because the current app is the one built for current phones. If you have an older handset, start with compatibility and the old-version page .
How often to refresh the app#
A fresh download through Start every now and then keeps the lobby current. The new file installs over the old one, so the refresh takes a minute and your account stays untouched. After the install, Settings, Apps and 918Kiss shows the version name you now have.

Where do I read my version? In Android Settings, under Apps and 918Kiss. Do I lose my balance when I update? Your balance lives in your 918Kiss account, so it stays the same. How do I know the update worked? The version name in Settings changes, and the lobby opens as usual.
